SInce its inception the department has been very proactive in various Laproscopic and advanced Laproscopic procedures .It has also catered to abdominal trauma patients and has improved overall results at the center.It exclusively caters to various surgeries like Open liver gall bladder and biliary surgeries , Pancreatic Surgeries , Small and Large bowel Surgeries , Surgery for Festula in ano and fissure in ano , Surgery for hemorrhoids (MIPH) , GI Cancer Surgeries , Variety of endoscopies (therapeutic /diagnostic): ERCP ,UGIE, Sidmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy.In its constant endeveor to excel , the department provides variety of latest techniques in open Laproscopic & minimal invasive arena.The department is soon going to have Bariatric Surgey Unit under its ageis.
